Steps to connect your Cisco Secure MSP Center with Gradient MSP.

Overview 

The Cisco Secure MSP Center integration synchronizes your usage from Cisco Secure with Gradient MSP to streamline your reconciliation process. 

Prerequisites

Before you can use the Cisco Secure MSP centre integration, you must ensure you have both a Cisco Secure account and a Gradient MSP account.

Connect Cisco Secure MSP Center 

  1. To initiate the setup, from within the Cisco Secure MSP Center, navigate to the Integrations tab > MSP Ecosystem platforms, and under the Gradient section, select Start integration
  2. Start by selecting the Go to Gradient button. You'll be asked to confirm, and then you'll be redirected to Gradient.
  3. In Gradient, go to the INTEGRATIONS tab at the top of the page and find the Cisco Secure MSP Center integration. Hover over Ready to Connect and select CONNECT.
  4. Generate and copy the API token.
  5. Return to the MSP Hub, paste the token into the Gradient partner token field, and select Next.
  6. Review the Integration Agreement carefully, then confirm to move to the next stage.
  7. Return to Gradient MSP to mapp accounts and services. 
 

Map Accounts and Services

Map Accounts 

  • When setting up the integration for the first time, accounts are automatically matched if there's an exact match between your Cisco and PSA.
  • For accounts not automatically matched:
    • Use the filter button beside the account names on the right or
    • Use the search bar on the left to find PSA accounts.
  • Drag and drop the PSA accounts from the left to match them with the Cisco accounts on the right.
  • Once accounts are mapped, click "Next" to access the Service Mapping step.

Proceed to Service Mapping


    • Align services or products from your PSA, displayed on the left, with the corresponding Cisco services or SKUs on the right. For ConnectWise PSA users, search by Product ID.
    • Ensure at least one account and one service mapping are completed to finish the configuration.
    • After mapping the services, click "Next."

Finalize Configuration


    • Review your service configurations and click "Finish" to complete the setup.
    • This will initiate a sync. The "Sync Status" indicator at the top-right will start spinning, showing that a sync is in progress.
    • Once the sync is complete, the "Refresh" button will light up pink, indicating the sync is complete. Click that button to see the Cisco usage data populated.
    • Return to the billing reconciliation page and use the filter or sort options to jump to the connected services and start reviewing and approving usage!
