      A step-by-step guide to getting started with the SafeDNS Billing Integration

      Connecting the SafeDNS Integration

      1. Connect the integration
      2. Map Accounts and Services
      3. Start the Sync
      4. Reconcile

      Disconnecting the SafeDNS Integration

      1. Disconnect the integration

      Step 1: Connect the Integration


      1. Login to Synthesize and navigate to the Integrations tab.
      2. Select the SafeDNS integration card, and click Connect.
      3. Copy the Synthesize API Key. Note that each integration is assigned a unique Synthesize API Key. Save this key in a secure location. It will only be available once.
      4. Click Open Portal.
      5. This will open a new tab to the SafeDNS site.
      6. Login to SafeDNS
      7. Navigate to the Partners tab
      8. Click on the Connections Settings tab
      9. Insert the Gradient API Key from Step 3 and click Add
      10. Return to Synthesize and press the check connection button.
      11. Proceed to the next page to complete the service and account mapping.

      Step 2: Map Accounts and Services

        1. Map your accounts by dragging the card from Synthesize on the left to SafeDNS on the right. When complete, press Next. 
          1. We have auto-mapped any that are exact matches. The remaining can be searched by pressing the filter button or typing in the Synthesize search bar. 
        2. Map your services by dragging the card from Synthesize on the left to SafeDNS on the right. When complete, press Next. 
          1. Services can be searched by pressing the filter button or typing in the Synthesize search bar. 
        3. Review and Press Finish

        Step 3: Start the Sync


        1. Return to SafeDNS and press the Sync Now button. This brings the data together and enables the auto sync keeping the connection current.

        Step 4: Reconcile

        1. Return to Synthesize, Refresh your page, and Reconile!

        Disconnecting the Integration

        1. Login to Synthesize and navigate to the Integrations tab.
        2. Filter to Connected Integrations
        3. Select the SafeDNS Integration card, and click Configure. 
        4. Press Disconnect and Confirm.

        Disconnecting this integration will remove the authentication settings and all account and service mapping. You can reconnect this integration, but you will need to remap your account and services.
