How to reconcile Site Locations

How to view and reconcile your site locations with the Synthesize billing module

Synthesize Billing does not currently support the allocation of quantities by the site just yet.

Please submit your feedback if you want to see this feature or others developed.

While Synthesize Billing can provide relevant information, selecting and assigning site locations requires additional considerations and factors beyond the scope of the platform.

Below outlines the two most common methods and how they are displayed for reconciliation in Synthesize.

Site Locations

  1. Separate Agreements per site location
  2. Single Agreement with multiple line items

Tip: While the screenshots below utilize ConnectWise PSA, Site locations and how we handle them are not PSA-specific.

Separate Agreements per site location

When breaking out site locations across multiple locations, the products will appear as separate Service Cards within Synthesize Billing.

Note that when updating the Service Card above, Synthesize Billing will adjust the quantity directly to the site agreement.

Single Agreement with multiple line items

Synthesize Billing aggregates the Total Quantity for the same Product or Service on a single agreement.

For example, in the following scenario, where there are two line items on an agreement for the same product, we would sum quantities and show a total quantity of 30 in Synthesize Billing.

Below is a screenshot of how these items would appear in the synthesize tool.

Note that when updating the Service Card as displayed above, Synthesize Billing will adjust the first line on the agreement for that specific product. There is yet to be a way to allocate quantities if there are multiple line items for the same product on an agreement.
